Frequently Asked Questions

How do I book an appointment?

Get in touch with us by calling 204-785-2888. We currently do not offer online booking at this time.

What happens during my first assessment?

Your physiotherapist will discuss your symptoms, health history, and goals, then assess how you move. Wear comfortable clothing so you can move easily during the visit.

Will my treatment plan be tailored to me?

Yes. Your plan is shaped around your assessment, daily activities, and recovery goals. It may include hands-on care, guided exercises, and strategies to use between appointments.

Does Manitoba Health cover Physiotherapy?
Manitoba Health generally does not cover treatment at private physiotherapy clinics, except for eligible patients recovering from a recent hip or knee replacement who do not have private insurance.
When can I start physiotherapy after surgery?

Timing depends on your procedure and your surgeon’s instructions. Contact us with any post-operative guidelines so we can discuss an appropriate assessment and rehabilitation plan.

Can you directly bill my insurance?

Direct billing may be available for most insurance plans. Coverage and billing options vary by each policy. Some insurance companies restrcit the information they will release to healthcare providers. As a result, patients remain responsible for understanding their coverage.
